"I can be your facebook stalker."

This has got to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

...And creepiest.

Transitions....

So I picked up my cap and gown today. That was a little bit of a wake-up call... I've been constantly talking about how I can't wait to graduate, how moving on to the next chapter of my life will be great, etc.

And then today, as the woman behind the desk unceremoniously put my gown, cap, tassel, and hood into a bag, it hit me. I will be graduating with a Masters degree in less than 3 weeks. Holy crap.

It's easy to lose sight of this transition, since I still have to revise my thesis and do final papers before I can graduate... but for the first time today I realized FOR REAL that I will be moving on to a whole new chapter of my life in 3 weeks. It's exciting. And fun. And really scary.

It's funny how much my life has changed in such a short amount of time. When I started at LaSalle last January, I had an image of what my life would be like after I graduated with my Masters. That image has changed completely. The saying really is true-- God does laugh when we make plans!

Transitions cause you to have so many different emotions simultaneously. I'm just taking lots of deep breaths and trying to remember that the Big Guy Upstairs has everything under control.

Happy Easter!

At my church we have a tradition of hanging a home-made Jesus on the cross outside of the church during Holy Week. On Good Friday we change the body to a black cloth, and on Easter we change the black cloth to a white cloth.

The white cloth isn't fully on the cross because the man hanging it alone "decided" to fall off of the ladder while doing the job. He's OK, thank God, just a broken rib. If you look closely you can see the imprint of the ladder in the grass, where it fell.

Enjoy the pictures!
