Officially in Seminary
So, I've been at seminary for almost 4 weeks now (2 weeks of "Prolog," AKA Orientation, and almost 2 weeks of classes). I figured I should update this so people know what's been going on!
First of all, the picture above is of the Henry Muhlenberg statue at the entrance to the campus-- he is all decked out! (Yes, this is the same statue I'm standing next to in my last blog entry). It's a tradition here at LTSP that the new students decorate the statue for the start of the new academic year. Our theme was pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
Some people may ask, how is seminary? What's it like? Well, it's an awful lot of work. This past weekend, all I did was schoolwork and go to church. Also, Hebrew is kicking my butt. I'm hoping that as the semester goes on, I'll get into a groove and be able to balance out work with play. I'm learning a lot, and really enjoy what I'm learning! :)
