Wading Through the Kiddie Pool of Life

My life is officially a soap opera.

Or, as a close friend emailed to me, my life could also be a fiction novella, a Veronica Mars episode, or just the REAL LIFE of Becca: "Don't Ever Say Impossible, Because It Happened To Me."

My car has been found. Found by me, actually. The plates were changed and everything. The perp has been caught, and I await further action. That's the really short version... if you want to know more just ask. The drama lies in the details of how it all went down.

Absolutely ridiculous. Who thought that things would turn out the way they did?! On the phone, after I had told her about everything, Christine mentioned two things about the recent state of affairs in my life:

1) "See? Your prayers have been answered! God just has a sense of humor about it!" (Christine is gonna be the best ordained minister, ever!)
2) "Wow, all of this is so wild. You should write all this down, your life is like a fiction novel!"

Maybe she's right. How many people have told me recently that my life sounds like fiction?! Or, at the very least, a messed up soap opera? In fact, my life is probably more exciting and entertaining than most of the soap operas already out there!

Perhaps I've gotten my purpose in life all wrong. Perhaps I am called to write down my life so that others may also share in the craziness!!!!

  • I've been misquoted - if I was using a pronoun for God it would have definately been SHE!

  • We DO get exactly what we expect -- sense of humor -- or humility -- or just plain manifestation of the divine in us all -- what you focus on -- will BE.

  • This is kinda a response to two blog posts, but we'll let that go...

Things have a magical way of working out, and it's good to see that life's improving, one part at a time. It's scary how often we wind up solving mysteries even when we did not think we would. Congrats on the find, I think it'd be interesting to see what happens to the perp from here...

Now, on the "soap opera", I think a lot of people you know and I know both could write our lives as the soap operas they are, and in many ways these blogs/journals/sites provide that effect. And yes, the real stories are a lot more entertaining, to a much wider and respected audience, one's friends...
